The rear garden is designed as a social landscape, a place for family, friends and pets to gather throughout the year. A curved concrete bench wraps beneath the established Paperbark Tree (Melaleuca quinquenervia), complemented by a new understorey of native tree ferns (Cyathea species). Together, they create a natural gathering place while protecting the tree's root system. The bench's sweeping form guides movement through the garden, encouraging long, unhurried afternoons outdoors. Warm-toned crazy paving reinforces the relaxed coastal character of the Bar Beach setting.

Positioned to capture sunlight and maintain uninterrupted views from the home, the pool strengthens the connection between indoors and out. The gentle sound of water cascading over the wet edge creates a calm backdrop, while the outdoor kitchen and surrounding entertaining spaces encourage effortless outdoor living. Together, these elements create a cohesive landscape that feels purposeful, relaxed and intrinsically connected to the home.
