Courtyard oasis

Hamilton South

2303

Designed as a private courtyard oasis for a residential home in Newcastle, this bespoke landscape design creates a seamless connection between the home's architecture and outdoor living. Extending naturally from the existing covered entertaining area, the rear garden features a plunge pool within an adobe-inspired enclosure, travertine paving, layered planting and a lower lawn, creating a refined outdoor environment for entertaining, relaxation and everyday living.

A series of connected outdoor spaces enhances privacy while maintaining a strong architectural relationship with the home. Olive (Olea europaea), Pygmy Date Palm (Phoenix roebelenii) and a restrained palette of succulents, exotics and native species provide texture, structure and seasonal interest, while carefully considered furniture placement ensures each space feels cohesive, functional and timeless.
